About
Prof. Al-Abbadi is a professor specializing in honey bee biology and apiculture at Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan.
She served as Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology for four years (2020–2024) and as Dean of Scientific Research and Innovation during the 2024/2025 academic year.
She is currently a Visiting Professor and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA.
She has represented Jordan at numerous international conferences as a keynote speaker.
She received the Best Scientific Research Award at the Arab Beekeepers Conference held in Libya in 2007, and the Best Scientific Research Award at the Bee Conference held in Kayseri, Turkey, in 2011.
Prof. Al-Abbadi has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers in the fields of apiculture, bee health, and bee products, and she leads several national and international research projects.
Training & Practical Experience: She has delivered many specialized training courses in beekeeping, bee products, and queen rearing in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United States of America.
