About
Professor Noureddine Adjlane is a researcher and professor at M’Hamed Bougara University of Boumerdes, specializing in apiculture, honey bee biology, and honey bee health. He has more than 25 years of experience in beekeeping and pollinator research.
He is the author and co-author of hundreds of national and international scientific publications and has delivered numerous presentations at scientific conferences and congresses in Algeria and abroad.
His research focuses on honey bee health, colony losses, bee diseases and pests, and apicultural biodiversity, as well as the impacts of climate change on pollinators and agroecosystems.
He has led and participated in several national and international research projects, including SAFEAGROBEE and MEDIBEES.
He is a member of the Apimondia Bee Health Commission and serves as President of the Apimondia Africa Commission.
He has supervised numerous Master's and Ph.D. students and has established extensive international scientific collaborations.
His work has significantly contributed to the conservation of pollinators and the promotion of sustainable beekeeping.
He is widely recognized as one of the leading reference experts in the Arab world and Africa in the fields of apiculture and honey bee health.
