Academic Experience

A lecturer and academic researcher at the Faculty of Agriculture, Sana'a University. He has published numerous research papers and studies in the field of beekeeping and honey production.

Beekeeping Experience

He supervises many postgraduate students in this field and has been practicing beekeeping in the field for over 25 years.

Academic Qualifications

He received his Bachelor's degree from Cairo University in 1990, followed by a Master's degree from the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bangalore, India, in 1998, and a PhD from the University of Punjab in India in 2003. He was also a visiting scholar at Arizona State University during 2005–2006.

Academic Leadership

Former Director of the Honeybee Unit at Sana'a University.

Beekeeping Sector Leadership

Founding President of the Yemeni Beekeepers Cooperative Association (Yemeni Beekeepers Union).

Entrepreneurship & Consulting

Founding President of the Union of Consultants for Small and Medium Enterprises (USMEs) from 2014 to 2021. He has provided consulting services to numerous international and local organizations in the areas of entrepreneurship and project development, particularly in beekeeping and honey production.

Scientific Leadership

President of the Yemeni Society for Life Sciences.

Awards & Recognition

Recipient of the Al-Saeed Prize for Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (Seventh Session, 2003), and the Presidential Prize for Scientific Research in the field of Environmental, Agricultural, and Fisheries Sciences (First Session, 2009).
